Yesterday, an order came through with the destination being an FPO. This individual has placed an order before, but the previous destination was an address on a military base. No rank has been given, just the name, but the FPO leads me to believe that he is now deployed, probably as a civilian employee of the military
. As many of you know my family has a long history of service, and I have a great respect and admiration for those who serve their country, be they hired civilians or serving military personnel. So, if you are serving in a military, employed by a military, are a civilian contractor, and ARE DEPLOYED overseas/away from home, please let me know when you order or drop me an email to say "hey there". I like to help out when I can. And even though today is not any sort of holiday or day of remembrance, I just want to say to those who serve and have served the thing that the rest of us don't say enough: Thank you for doing what YOU do. Thank you for keeping us safe, for allowing us to continue to have our rights and freedoms at the possible expense of your lives. Sincerely, Darby

Just sort of wondering... but what is the normal size gaming area or gaming table on which you play with 15mm minis?
Around here we've noticed a contraction in gaming are as the size of the minis decrease, until hitting around the 1/200 scale when the tables begin to get larger again. An awful lot of your 15mm games seem to take place on 2'x2' or 3'x3' play areas, as they are skirmishes. What about you? |
