We are finally back home from Historicon 2013, and what an awesome time it was! The drive was long, but scenic, and we can't complain a single bit about our travel companions; Mr. Christian and The Mutineers. These people are outstanding human beings, and you should get to know them better!
We also nave to give props to HMGS and their staff and helpers. They were able to fit us in with short notice, and really went out of their way to make sure that the Con ran smoothly. Big thanks to them all around, and especially to Dudley. And another big THANK YOU goes out to all the people we met, talked with, and that supported Darkest Star Games. It is all really appreciated. So, things are getting back to "normal" around here, and all orders that were received while we were gone are at the Post Office and on their way to their intended recipients. The next few days will be all about casting up replacement stock and finishing some 3d models, as well as catching up on sleep. And, as usual, we'll keep you abreast of the latest updates!

Yep, we're all packed up and heading out for the long drive from Texas to Virginia (by way of Arkansas and Tennessee first). All orders received while we're gone will be shipped out just as soon as we get back, on the 22nd or 23rd.
We will have all of our Dark Star, Colony=15 and Spec-Sec stuff with us, as well as a selection of Two Hour Wargames titles. MicroPanzer Wargames will be sharing our space, so drop on by and chat with us! Hope to see you there! What? 2 updates in one week? And on the 4th of July too?
Yep. And it's not even the Apocalypse. Here's another WIP for you guys and gals. Happy 4th of July! Be careful with those fireworks, they are not for oral consumption. Hey. How's it going? Hot enough for ya? Well, here's something cool for you to check out! Here are some quick and dirty shots of the 3d model of the 15mm version of the Venturian's S'orhan LODAV GIFV (to be SKU# 15VT2). We were hoping to have this round of masters printed, molds made, and castings ready to go for Historicon, but that is not seeming likely. But rest assured, as soon as the prints arrive, we'll post some photos! Till then, here's the raw model: Now, just so you know, we are presenting the model in "ground mode", meaning the airfoil at the rear of the top deck is retracted, and the troop rapid drop chutes are rotated outwards. Not shown are some of the additional details, such as crew steps, thin panel lines, textures and other "stuff".
