Hello all! I didn't realise it had been so long since we last posted...
But here's the news: As you saw in our last post some new 15mm Sci-Fi vehicles are coming, and they really are! We are looking to release them next week! Next in line will be the new Spec-Sec Battle Armors previewed not too long ago, just waiting for their heads to be 3d printed and then casting will begin! (in resin this time). For those patiently waiting for the Parma Battle Armors to come back to the shop... the new molds didn't solve the problems with the final castings to our satisfaction so it appears we will have to put them into 3d and have new masters printed up. The originals were hand sculpted and did not survive having molds made, so there is now no real alternative. The bad news is that it's going to take a while longer before they are ready, but the good news is there will be more poses that will be available! Keep an eye out for the release announcement for the new cars, it's coming soon!

It's preview time again! Below you see our crop of cars and trucks. 5 you will recognize as part of our current offerings, but the other 5 cars, as well as the trucks in the back, will soon be released!
The 15mm versions of the Zirhan LODAV GMBT ($20usd each or $54usd for a platoon of 3), the Tiger LODAV GMBT (also $20usd each or $54usd for a platoon of 3) and the Garshaw GMBT and Paghgaw GIFV (both $18usd each) are now up on the store and available to be purchased! Get them while they're hot!
It's New Release time! Yaaaaay! It's taken quite a while to get these 15mm scale beasts from the depths of computer land to the gaming table, but here they are! First off, The Federation Drop Troops get their long awaited LODAV GMBT, the Tiger: Being just slightly short than the Puma LODAV GAPC that it is designed to support in planetary assaults, the Tiger is an imposing sight on the battlefield. That plasma canon is HUGE, guaranteed to melt whatever it is aimed at on the very first shot! Not to be outdone, the Venturians are also deploying their own LODAV GMBT to combat zones, the Zirhan! That is a whoooole lot of orbital dropped, accelerated particle spitting destruction right there! Do NOT be in front of that thing when it fires off. Despite their technological superiority, the Federation and the Venturians aren't the only forces equipped with advanced weapons, and willing to use them. In fact, new intelligence reports state that there's a Canine related race out there that has begun to stir trouble, and they've deployed the Garshaw GMBT and Paghgaw GIFV: This new adversary does not use their grav vehicles in the standard fast assault sort of doctrine, instead they seem to operate very low to the ground, using cover and concealment to hunt down and surprise their enemy. Lurking behind obstructions they deploy small drones from cradles at the fore of the Commanders cupola to observe, track and lock their intended targets before popping up to blast them, then drop back into cover to displace to a new position or make their escape. The Garshaw glass GMBT has even been seen sporting several different types of armament. All 4 of these new grav vehicles will be released in the next few days. Stay Tuned!
The Spec_Sec Parma Police Battle-Armors have temporarily been removed from the storefront pending new molds. But don't worry, they'll be back!
Hey there, been a while! But, alas, the Magravate Militia now have vehicles to help them patrol the great veldt expanses and to battle Zonii war parties, rampaging critters foraging from the sulfur canyons, and fend of Space Marauder raids! On the left we have the Rimmer light grav tank ($12 each), the Bounder APC in the center ($9 each), and the Grav Hauler (also $9 each) on the left. They can be fond on the Colony 15 page. The Bounder grav APC is an antique. Nothing more than old colonial long-distance survey craft, refurbished and armored, they are barely adequate for their intended roll as the primary patrol and response vehicle of the Militia precincts, and many are centuries old. Half are armed with a long barrel Anti-Creature canon which fires projectiles designed to penetrate into the local fauna's thick hides and explode deep within their bodies for maximum lethal effect. Unarmed APC can carry 6-10 troops, though 4 troops and a driver makes up the normal long range patrol. The Militia also make use of a home-grown light grav tank, essentially a Bounder APC with a light turret planted over the troop compartment. The Rimmer light grav tank can hold it's own against most of the Militia's common foes, but the occasion big critter or especially strong Marauder craft can pose a significant problem. Most Rimmers have a manned turret mounted, bringing a pair of light plasma canon to the party, but 1-in-4 carry a remote turret that sports a very high-energy beam canon. These remote-turret Rimmers make for capable anti-air defense tanks, as well as helping to ease the man-power shortage that the Militia continually operates under. And last but not least is the grav Hauler. Nothing more than a lightly armored farm flatbed, these workhorses haul supplies and troops to the far-flung Militia precincts, sometimes aid local farmers in bringing their produce and livestock to the cities and market towns, and even act as improvised patrol vehicles when here are not enough Bounders and Rimmers to go around. Some Haulers have even been converted to jerry rigged support vehicles by bolting down anti-air missiles and canon or artillery rockets to their long beds. A rue workhorse that the Magravate Militia of Colony 15 could not survive without!
The pre-order for the 15mm Hippogriff Attack Aerodyne and weapons pack has ended, and the orders will be gin to ship in just a few days! This aerial killer is now available as a regular release, as is the weapons pack.
April already? Yikes! Well, let's get down to it! First off, we have a brand new pre-order for the 15mm Hippogriff Attack Aerodyne for $15usd, a fast and maneuverable flyer that we totally just snuck out, as well as a weapons pack for the bird for $5usd. This weapons pack is loaded and contains 4 each of the single missile, double missile, rocket pod, and cruise missile/drone as well as a single double canon, as seen below! It looks mean with the gun on it: For regular release we also have the long awaited Spec-Sec Response Team in high-intensity armor ($4usd), and their buddy; Borg Koios ($1.25usd, in the center). A hard hitting team for sure! Bad guys beware!
Here we are at the end of the month, and the New Releases are finally ready! And boy have these two been long awaited! First of, we have the Venturian Lift Infantry Headquarters group. A leader, 2 snipers, a rocketeer and a Tech (commo, medic, drone controller...) Not to be outdone, the 13-man Federation Lift Infantry squad is also now available! The picture below is just a selection of the 13 unique posses included in the squad. You can find these New Releases here in their respective 15mm sections.
And now for some eye candy, Federation troops and their Puma transports painted by the great Leon Locke! Happy 2015 all! Still no commuting to work using personal jetpacks or flying cars, but it can't be too long now...
The end of 2014 was a little slow for releases, but do not fear, new releases are on their way! First we will be releasing the HQ group for the Venturian Lift Infantry and the Federation Lift Infantry squad that has been previewed and teased, quickly followed by some Spec-Sec heavy armor troops and a new cyborg character. Not too far behind that should some vehicles for the sore-footed Colony-15 Magravate Militia, as well as a commercial truck (which will come in delivery, flatbed, liquid hauler, and police type flavors) and a new little car for the Spec-Sec line. But what about more tanks and stuff for Dark Star, you ask? Well, next up for release there will be the 15mm versions of the Zirhan and Lynx/Tiger, as well as a new series of grav designs for a new faction. And no, we won't tell you who they are yet. Unless you pay us. Maybe. And then there are some buildings we are working on, but that's not quite ready to say too much about yet... And yes, there is also more goodness waiting in the wings, and maybe some other surprise releases in-between those mention above. Who knows? but the road map for 2015 is looking pretty packed, so keep your eyes peeled and your plasma carbine handy! You never know when a sudden troop drop will hurtle though the upper atmo! |
